About Me

I am currently pursuing a doctoral program in Urban Planning and Public Policy at the School of Social Ecology, University of California. I hold a graduate degree in Development Practice from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs, University of Minnesota. While at Humphrey, I focused my work on demography, population studies and urban development.

I have diverse work experience in policy implementation, evaluation and writing. I have worked as the Star of the North Fellow at the Office of Economic Opportunity, Minnesota Department of Human Services, concentrating on state level anti-poverty programs - homelessness and housing, food and nutrition and community action agencies. Some of my prior work has been with Minnesota Historical Society, Relief International, Neighborhood House, Health and Hope Oasis (Egypt) and National Trust for Nature Conservation (Govt. of Nepal).
