A little about me… I started my PR stint in “Hollywood,” helped launch Halle Berry’s career then went onto work with celebrities including Byran Cranston, Shirley MacLaine, James Earl Jones, and many others. I was recruited up to the SF Bay Area to work at famed PR firm Niehaus Ryan Wong (NRW) and represent PIXAR, along side Steve Jobs. I launched “A Bug’s Life,” and was part of the “Toy Story 2” ramp up, left NRW to join a startup which launched on the cover of WIRED Magazine - not everyone was digitizing smell through the web - then got shut down and helped my friends get intros. Then they helped me get clients. I launched my first PR firm in 2001 with clients like Google, Looksmart, Schwab’s email marketing firm Quris, then got into blogger relations and social media and was recruited to lead digital marketing and comms at MSLGROUP for the West Coast. We won clients like Disney Store, Ancestry, NESTLE CRUNCH, and the Bay Area’s Spare the Air program, which I’m still working on today! But, I’m a startup guy at heart. After the MSLGROUP SF office closed, I went back out on my own and launched https://www.2pinz.com with my wife and business partner. Today we do PR, social and content for B2B tech startups.
