Debora is a Registered Psychotherapist, with the College of Registered Psychotherapist of Ontario (CRPO). In her practice as a psychotherapist, speaker and consultant, her work is guided from an anti-oppressive, healing focused, trauma informed and anti-Black racism lens, to unpack and challenge systemic oppression and generational traumas that have been detrimental to racialized communities. Debora is a clinician with over 12 years of experience. She has presented at a number of conferences and is sought after for her expertise on mental health, trauma and healing to speak at various community and corporate events across the Greater Toronto Area. She owns and operates Inside Mental Health, an organization geared towards ending the stigma of mental health. Her experiences and journey navigating the mental health system has inspired her to become an advocate for those who are experiencing mental health issues and help others on their own personal journeys. She is committed to supporting and helping to guide others to reach their full potential in life. My areas of specialization include, but are not limited to: Individual Counselling – for adults who are struggling after traumatic experiences, or have anxiety, depression or problematic behaviours. Family or Parent Counselling – for families to help resolve problematic relationship patterns, get through stressful situations and deepen their connection. Child Psychotherapy/Play therapy – for children with worries, stress or anxiety; low mood, sadness or depression; low self-esteem; survivors of trauma or abuse; grief or loss related to the loss of a friend, family member or pet; divorce/separation; difficulty with friendships or family relationships; anger or difficulty regulating their emotions; self-harm
Debora couples her dynamic speaking style with her clinical expertise. Debora is a mother of 3 boys and little girl, who appreciates time alone with her family and watching reality TV. She also enjoys laughing, making others laugh, and playing trivia games.

We are also advocates for students, currently working to raise awareness of aid displacement and scholarship taxability—we are committed to ensuring that students receive the full benefit of the scholarships they earn to help make their dreams possible. - Robert C. Ballard, President & CEO, Scholarship America
Rated as one of the top charities in education, Scholarship America works directly with students, parents, colleges, businesses and communities to help students fulfill their college dreams. "Right now, there's a level of false empathy that we exude as people. But if I sit here and talk with you and you tell me about intimate stories about what's going on in your home and how that's affecting you, it becomes different. " - Jo'rell
