Mr. Japin started his teaching career in 2011, as a Full-time instructor of La Consolacion College-Bais and a Guest Instructor of Negros Oriental State University, Campuses I and II, teaching natural sciences, health, and biology-specialization subjects. At LCC-Bais, he has assumed numerous middle administrative positions since 2013. As a former member of the core group of Augustinian Science Educators in Region VII, he was instrumental in crafting the unified learning plan for Science before the implementation of the K to 12 program. At the time of COVID-19, he was designated as the Safety Officer of LCC-Bais. His leadership paved the way for face-to-face dry runs and the issuance of a permit to operate on-site classes during the pandemic. As the current Assistant Research Director, he leads the LCC educative community toward research publication and presentation.
He is a regular member of organizations such as the Philippine Association of Researchers and Statistical Software Users (PARSSU), the Philippine Association of Professional Teachers and Researchers (PAPTR), the International Guild of Educators Authors and Researchers (IGEAR), and a lifetime member of the International Congress of Innovation-based Educators and Researchers Inc. (ICIBER).
He has presented at both national and international research conferences. In one of the national conferences he attended, his research was honored with the Best Abstract award, and he also earned recognition as the 2nd Best Research Presenter. he was a recipient of the Most Outstanding Research Consultant Award of 2024 by Instabright International Guild of Researchers and Educators, while his platform A3 Research Consultancy Services was also nominated for the Best Choice Award as a Center of Excellence in Research, Data Analysis, and Editorial Services in 2026. He was appointed as Regional Coordinator for Region 18 (Negros Island Region) by the Pambansang Samahan ng mga Propesyonal at Mananaliksik sa Pilipinas.
